What is the difference between the Unlimited Hosting and the Unlimited Hosting (Windows) Plan?

The Unlimited Hosting plan comes in two versions: Linux and Windows. The difference is in the server environment: the Unlimited Hosting (Windows) plan is hosted on a Windows server and the Unlimited Hosting is hosted on a Linux server. As a result, they offer different scripting and database support.

The Unlimited Hosting plan supports CGI/Perl, while the Unlimited Hosting (Windows) plan supports ASP/ODBC.

When choosing between the two Unlimited Hosting plans, we highly recommend that you choose the regular Linux version.  This is because it's a lot cheaper than its Windows counter part, and you don't need the scripting capabilities that the Unlimited Hosting (Windows) plan provides unless you're planning to run ASP scripts or require ODBC support.
