Our Unlimited Hosting service supports SSL certificates. You can purchase an SSL certificate for your domain name and we will install it for you.

An SSL certificate is what allows your website and online store to accept information via the Internet, securely and identifies your store as a legitimate online business. When installed on the server where your site is being hosted, an SSL certificate will encrypt all information before transmitting it over the Internet.

If you would like to purchase an SSL certificate for your domain name, we provide GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium certificates. Geotrust is currently one of the industry leaders for SSL products today. We offer the 1 year QuickSSL certificate for US$159.

Doteasy also offers a shared SSL certificate option for our Ultra Hosting clients who wish to setup an online store using shopping carts such as osCommerce. The certificate is registered under the name of the web server and is shared by the clients on the web server. Your encrypted page will use a special URL, under the server name, to identify it under the server. Using a shared certificate will offer the encryption capability you are seeking without having to purchase your own certificate.
