What is Domain Locking?

Domain Locking is a feature that helps prevent domain theft, hijacking or other fraudulent transfers of domain name.

When Domain Locking is enabled, any requests to transfer the domain to another registrar or hosting company will automatically fail.  Domain Locking must first be disabled before any transfer can be processed.

All domains registered with Doteasy will be locked by default. With the Domain Locking service, you gives you added control over your domain so that you can lock it or unlock it at any time through your domain control panel.
