Are there additional fees for renewing an expired domain?

It depends on how long your domain expired for.

If your domain is within the renewal grace period, then there should be no additional costs to renew your domain. Most domain types have a 30-40 day grace period after it expires. The length of this grace period is determined by the central registry and will vary depending on the domain type.

However, if your domain has no renewal grace period or is already past its renewal grace period, then there will be an additional fee to renew your domain. If you domain falls into this category or is being held by the registry in the QURANTINE or REDEMPTION statuses, you will need to contact us for further information on how to renew your domain.
