Can I run my own nameservers for my domain?

Nameserves must be registered at the registry before they are functional. Nameservers are registered by your domain registrar. If your domain is registered with Doteasy, you will need to send us a request to have your nameservers created and registered.

There is no charge to nameserver creation.

Send your request

Send your request to us with the following information:

- Member ID and password
- Requested setup nameserver hostname with corresponding IP address (there is no format or restriction for nameserver naming convention)
Nameservers can be queried at: http://whois.domaintools.com/

Example nameserver hostnames and IP addresses:

dns1.doteasy.com    [65.61.123.123]
dns2.doteasy.com    [65.61.123.124]
