I have uploaded my files, but I still get an "Under Construction" page?
If you are still getting the "Under Construction" page on you browser, you may wish to check the following:
1. Did you name your homepage file 'index.htm'?
When your account was setup, we have uploaded a default "Under Construction" page for you. This "Under Construction" page was named 'index.htm'.
In order for your website to be displayed, you will need to overwrite our "Under Construction" page by naming your homepage 'index.htm'. Make sure you are using all lower case letters when naming your "index.htm" page, ie. not "Index.Htm" or "Index.htm".
If this is the cause of the problem, all you need to do is simply rename your web file and retry viewing your website on your browser.
2. Have you uploaded your webfiles to the correct directory on your server?
If you are using the Doteasy Basic Web Hosting plan, you will need to upload your webfiles to the / (root) directory.
If you are using the Ultra Hosting or Unlimited Hosting plans, you will need to upload your webfiles to the /var/www/htmldirectory.
If you are using the Ultra Hosting (Windows) or Unlimited Hosting (Windows) plans, you will need to upload your webfiles to the /wwwroot directory.
If this is the cause of the problem, then all you need to do is simply move your webfiles to the correct directory.
Your browser may have cached an older version of the website for your convenience (faster loading in case you should revisit the same website again within a certain timeframe). Once you have cleared your browser cache/temporary internet files, your website should appear on your browser.
