Why did Doteasy lock my domain?

Due to changes in registry transfer rules, all domains registered and renewed with Doteasy will have a Registrar-Lock status as a security measure against potential unauthorized transfers or domain hijacking.

Previously, Doteasy sends a secondary confirmation request to domain owners to authorize a transfer and all unconfirmed transfers will be rejected. However, the registry has changed the transfer rules to allow transfers to auto-complete. As a security measure against potential unauthorized transfers or domain hijacking, all Doteasy-domains will be locked.

If you are in the process of transferring your domain name to another registrar, you will first need to unlock your domain name.

If you have ordered the Doteasy Domain Locking Service:

You can unlock your domain in your Member Zone.

If you do not have the Doteasy Domain Locking Service:

Send us a request to have your domain unlocked.
