What is the difference between a .CA and a .COM domain?

.COM is the generic Top Level Domain (gTLD) designing Commerical.

The registration and regulatory policies of the .CA domain name is set and maintained by CIRA, and governed by Canadian law.

As a result, when you register a .CA domain name, your domain registration fee will be processed in Canadian currency and will be subject to applicable Canadian taxes.
